Cyprus Museums Study

All Things was appointed by the European Commission and Cyprus Department of Antiquities at the end of 2017 to work on the design of three museums in south-western Cyprus. All three are housed in unique historic buildings and cover the ancient and medieval history of the island.

Our team was responsible for developing the entire museological approach for each museum, starting with visitor and stakeholder research and including interpretation, graphics, lighting and environmental design. Our initial research and concept development phase has resulted in a cohesive design proposal for each museum that seeks to make use of the existing idiosyncrasies of each building to create modern, high quality museum spaces.
